omorkaWednesday: Gaming Night
Gaming will happen this Wednesday. In honor of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
memeslayer's being in town, the usual GURPS will be replaced by a Big Eyes, Small Mouth one-shot tentatively entitled "Fast Times at Sohma High". Format: Anything-Goes High School Shojo. We'll be starting character creation around 6:00 or whenever people start showing up, which ever comes first.
Thursday: Turkey Day and Movie Night
Spouse and I will be hosting an Orphan's Thanksgiving at our place Thursday. Sit-down dinner will probably occur about 2:00 pm. Anyone in town who would like to participate, you're welcome to come by! Please RSVP in a reply to this post so we know how many to set the table for. (Also, if you have serious dietary issues, please let us know so we can warn you away from stuff that might be bad for you.) Menu at this point includes turkey, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, fruit salad, bread, pumpkin flan, and two pies to be made by me, type to be determined at a later date.
Afterwards will be general pick-up gaming and showing of various short video pieces by the Spouse. Movie night proper will begin at 7:00 pm as normal; I'll let Spouse announce the films to be shown. Anyone who couldn't make it for dinner but who would like to flee familial obligations is welcome at any point during the afternoon/evening.
