My ankle is much better, but this morning, my car wouldn't start, and so now I'm dealing with a dead battery issue.

Having done the two blow outs on one trip thing, I feel your pain. We rode home in a wrecker after an officer's meeting back in the spring. We were stranded just East of Columbus, I had bronchitis, and it sucked a lot. At least MIL could rescue you. It doesn't change the suckage, however.
