omorkaI've been using the interchangeables for my lace-sampler scarf.
Good: picking the exact length of needle I need is kick-ass
they're easy to hold and manipulate
the cords have not kinked once yet
it expands my available needle sizes by a considerable margin
I probably don't have to worry about buying any more stitch holders, either
the joins have been pretty solid so far
Bad: the cords feel kind of floppy once there's a reasonable amount of fabric knitted up
the needle-ends are plastic, and feel rather bendy under my fingers, even the large ones
the yarn does catch on the join, moreso than on a regular circular, although they haven't snagged yet
I haven't actually tried to use them for knitting in the round yet, although once the lace scarves are done, I'll probably work the acrylic Slytherin scarf I already have the yarn for on them next.
