Jun. 2nd, 2009 01:48 amArrgh, why is a Fargo!fic with no smut in it at all being so very difficult to write? I have a rough draft, finally, and now I'm going to let it sit so I can re-read, tear my hair out some more, and try to fix it tomorrow.
*sigh* I can't blame the Boys in Grey, really, although part of the reason is that I'm trying to write the next story for
smallfandomfest already, and it'll be one of theirs, so my attention is sort of split. By the end of the fest, if not the month, I'm going to have written all of the GB/RGB prompts that I didn't submit, and possibly (if I exhaust everyone else's and still have time left) one or two of my own, since that's allowed.
But I refuse to be fandom-monogamous, even for them. I'm going to write Eureka prompts, too, and there are a number of other fandoms that I'm finding tempting. There's too much out there to write to restrict myself to one fandom, even though I know that's what a lot of people actually do.
I also joined
monthlymeme, just in case I got bored/wanted to try shorter fic, since Smallfandomfest has a much larger word minimum.
